PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS (KLCC) SKY BRIDGE

PETRONAS Twin Towers is located in the center of Kuala Lumpur town with 88 storeys and a 58.4 metre sky bridge linked between the “twins”. The sky bridge is located at level 41 and 42 and it is a double deck sky bridge stands 170 metres above street level.

The bridge was original designed by using cables but then realized that the cable system was not effective to accommodate the bridge movements caused by wind factors and then the final design was simplified.

The sky bridge opens on Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00am – 5:00pm (except for Friday from 1:00 – 2:30pm). Bear in mind that Monday is not open!!! The entrance is FREE of charge but there are only a certain amount of tickets a day will be given out based on first come first served basis. The ticket starts giving out from 8.30am and the first visit is 9.00am and during weekend there will be a lot of people to go.

Me and my siblings decided to go to take a tour to the sky bridge during weekend. After we took the free ticket, we manage to visit the exhibition hall to see all the technology before going into the sky bridge.

We then went to the entrance to wait for our turn to go into the lift. There was a beautiful girl to operate the lift since there were so many buttons inside the lift!!!

Wah! so many button!

Wah!!! So many buttons inside the lift!!!

It took a few minutes to reach our destination, the sky bridge! We had been given around 15 minutes to walk around inside the sky bridge and snap some photo.

The cars and buildings below the sky bridge seemed so small and I never notice that there was a PETRONAS logo in the middle of the road. Sometimes when thing see from different angle, you will get different view.
