Yann Mey Wedding

 

13 Jun 2008, it’s the day that i packed my things and headed for the Sitiawan, Perak. Because tonight is the night that my university friend - “Yann Mey” wedding dinner. And of course we don’t want to waste this golden opportunity to have another SCS gathering trip in Perak.

At 8 a.m morning, i took the STAR LRT to Titiwangsa Station because my friend “Kar Wei” and her boyfriend “Keat Seng” will fetch me and “Huey Fang” at 9 a.m. Haha, i reached there exactly 9 a.m, waiting there and finally my little friend “Huey Fang” has arrived. Yeah!

After Kar Wei fetched us, she brought us to Segambut to eat the famous “Seaofood Mee” - Restoran Yu Ai (友爱海鲜面）. It tasted good and the quantity is a lot, same as the price as well. It costed RM 61.50 for 5 person.

Let’s have a look at the food now… We have ordered Laksa La La Mee, Curry Seafood Mee and Soup Seafood Mee. I have taken a long time to finish the bowl of mee as there were a variety of seafood inside, dun play play wo. Haha.

On the way to Sitiawan

We started our journey from KL at 10.30 a.m, let’s go!!!

Unfortunately, our car had encountered some difficulties to accelerate, so we just moved around 60 km/hour. Haha, so we took this chance to see the scenery around.

Finally we arrived at Sitiawan town and we turned around to find the Proton Edar Service Centre. Luckily this time we found one!!! Thank God!

After fixing the car (replace the petrol filter), we met our friend there - “Poh Hing” and his girlfriend “Chris“, we started our tour in Sitiawan, cheers!

Sitiawan Cheong Cia Gong Pian (实兆远福州光饼）

“Poh Hing” brought us to buy “Gong Pian”, it is one of the famous local food, MUST TRY!!! You must eat when you can still feel the warmth of it and the ingredients inside taste good (vegetables and others), haha.

Wantan Mee & Loh Mee

After eating the “Gong Pian”, we headed for another real lunch - “Wantan Mee & Loh Mee“.

We felt so hungry, and we have made a lot of orders, and i also forgot what i ordered already. ABC Ice Kacang, Wantan Mee, Loh Mee……

We ate until so full and the great news was “Poh Hing” treat us! Yeah. Although we ate a lot but it was cheap, total : around RM25. The shop is within the Pasar area, give a try if you ever come to Sitiawan.

Yann Mey Wedding

Tonight is the night of “Yann Mey”, cos she became somebody’s wife, haha. The dinner started around 7 pm, we reached there and all of us, 8 people just sit in one table.

Lumut Waterfront

After the wedding dinner, we just decided to take a walk at Lumut Waterfront, it’s like Danga Bay in Johor Bahru. We took many photos there, shiok ourselves, hehe.
