Li Ping and me have paid a visit to Malacca for a gathering trip with my university friends, there are total 5 persons including us, it has been so long didn’t travel together with this “gang”, haha. Driving there from KL took us around 2 and half hour, along the North-South Highway (PLUS), exit from the Ayer Keroh Tol, then took us about 20 minutes to reach the center of Malacca town. You can see Bayview hotel ahead of you if you come from Ayer Keroh Tol main road.

Restoran Ban Lee Siang Satay Celup, Malacca
We had our dinner at Restoran Ban Lee Siang(万里香沙爹朱律), Satay Celup, situated at Jalan Ong Kim Wee. (When you see SHELL and HSBC, you can turn left just after SHELL station, okay). It’s my 1st time to eat satay celup, so exceited, haha!
When we reached here, around 6pm, already hardly find a empty table there. Wow, the place was crowded with people! We have taken a lot of sticks consists of fishball, meat, seafood, vegetables, and so on.
All of us are so happy as finally we have found what we wish to eat - “Satay Celup”, always hear people say Malacca is famous of the satay celup, now we have tasted it, cheers!
Medan Selera Bunga Raya

After eating dinner at Restoran Ban Lee Siang, i have left my “girl” friends team and went to find my primary school teacher -Sir Chu(出老师). He is a nice and friendly guy as always. He lived at Bukit Katil, however he took me to his old house near Jalan Bunga Raya. There is a famous food court (Medan Selera Bunga Raya) where there are well-known with its 蚝煎 (”Hou Jian”) & 福建面 (”Hokkien Mee”). Haha… this one can be said is the supper for me! Let’s have a look at the delicious food here:
This is my friend, as well as, my night tour guide… Sir Chu(出老师)!
Malacca Town (Night Scene)
This is my 1st time to walk around Malacca Town at night and visited so many tourist spots, haha. This is because i have a experienced tour guide. We have came a long Jambatan Kg. Jawa. Long time ago, it’s a gateway (鬼门关) lead to Kg Jawa, a place that was full of entertainment, gambling and others.
I was told that recently there is night boat service to let the tourists to see the night scene of Malacca Town on the boat. Haha, luckily i saw the boat passing by the Kg. Jawa Bridge that time.
We were walking towards the Stadhuys…I think it’s cool can walk along the street at night while not need worrying about traffic jam here, because it is common to see tourists walking around Malacca Town at night especially the places liked Jonker Street, Melaka Raya and so on.
The Queen Victoria’s Fountain, Clock Tower, Christ Church, and the Stadthurys are famous features of the historic city of Malacca.
Queen Victoria’s Fountain is located in the center of the Dutch Square, this fountain was funded by local chineses to celebrate the Queen Victoria, England crowned as queen anniversary.
The Malacca Clock Tower is situated beside the Queen Victoria’s Fountain, it’s an obvious and historical building in Malacca town.
The history and story about this tower you can see in the picture below:
It is said that the Stadthuys is probably the oldest remaining Dutch colonial building left in Southeast Asia. However, the history of the Stadthuys remains somewhat of a mystery.
A Famosa is located at the foot of St. Paul’s Hill, this tiny gate (called the Porta de Santiago) is all that is left of a once-mighty fortress. In fact, it is among the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia.
From Stadhuys go straight, you can see the Tourist Information Centre then after that at the right is Melaka Water Mill. A restaurant “Quayside Cafe & Seafood Restaurant” is just at the side of the water mill opposite to the Aldy hotel.
When you wake up this morning, what is your first thought appears in your mind? My thought is "It is a brand new day for me, i want to be myself, live my life and do something great!!! Yeah, Go Go Go!". Everyday, everyone will have their own life with different stories and tasks, but if you can enjoy doing what you are doing now, then you definitely is the happiest guy in this world!
So, BE YOURSELF, LIVE YOUR LIFE, ENJOY!
